Overview
The Senior Electronic Healthcare Systems Analyst is a superuser of home care home care (HCHB) for hospice and knowledgeable of efficiencies and best practices in HCHB for hospice programs. They are responsible for ensuring timely implementation of compliance and regulatory requirements in the EHR and software systems utilized for hospice. Acts a liaison between EHR and clinical software vendors (internal and external) for hospice team. Responsible for coordinating and delegating work within the department relating to software education. Coordinates with other service lines for symbiotic EHR needs and best practices. Communicates with appropriate management and leadership regarding enhancements, providing regular reports on key metrics in EHR in relation to efficiencies of practice within the EHR. Analyzes efficiencies in documentation and works with clinical leadership, hospice quality team and field clinicians for integration of continuous improvement. Responsible for compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements, meeting imposed deadlines for submissions.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
Home Care Home Base (HCHB) Coursework required
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human services, Public Health, Computer Science or related field required
Work Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in working with clinicians for EHR support required
Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in health care with a minimum of three (3) years of focus in Hospice required
Knowledge of HCHB operating system for hospice is required
Pathway building access preferred
Knowledge of other community based software systems such as SWIFT,HIPAA messaging preferred
Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics, and of hospice industry practices and standards preferred
Pay Range
USD $77,200.00 - USD $96,500.00 /Yr.
