Title: Senior Electronic Design Engineer – Embedded Systems

Our client, an innovative technology company developing advanced embedded hardware solutions, is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join its growing engineering organization. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated embedded electronic products throughout the complete product lifecycle—from concept and architecture through production and ongoing product enhancements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong background in digital hardware design who enjoys collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable, high-performance products used in demanding commercial and enterprise environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience designing embedded electronic or digital hardware systems.
  • Strong understanding of processors, embedded computing platforms, digital electronics, and PCB design.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment for functional verification and hardware validation.
  • Ability to interpret electronic schematics, timing diagrams, and digital logic.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed digital design and signal integrity principles.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
  • Experience designing products for regulated or compliance-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with FCC, CE, EMC, or EMI design standards.
  • Experience with signal integrity analysis, power integrity, simulation, or hardware modeling.
  • Analog circuit design experience.
  • Power supply and power management design experience.
  • Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience.
  • Experience with modern processor architectures, including x86-64, ARM, and RISC-V.
  • Experience supporting products from concept through manufacturing and production.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and validate advanced embedded electronic hardware systems.
  • Translate product requirements into innovative hardware architectures and detailed design specifications.
  • Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting engineering documentation using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Prepare production documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and product releases.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, engineering documentation, and design records.
  • Design and support production test fixtures, validation procedures, and manufacturing test systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware designs, perform design verification, and support ongoing product improvements.
