Senior Electromechanical Integration Specialist

Where: San Diego, CA | Pay: $35–$42/hour DOE | Schedule: Full-Time

What You’ll Tackle

• Assemble multi-discipline electro-mechanical builds and complete system integrations
• Install mechanical hardware, route/terminate wiring and cabling, and fit components
• Handle motors, actuators, sensors, and connectors with best-practice workmanship
• Read/interpret drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute work accurately
• Run functional tests; verify and document performance
• Troubleshoot issues at electrical, mechanical, and system layers
• Conduct failure analysis; identify root cause and implement fixes with minimal supervision
• Perform rework, repair, adjustments, and modifications
• Collaborate directly with engineers to clear production roadblocks
• Highlight documentation, process, or design gaps and recommend improvements
• Steward assigned products through build, test, debug, and shipment readiness

Must-Haves

• 5+ years in an electro-mechanical technician role (preferred)
• Experience building/integrating/testing/troubleshooting full electro-mechanical equipment
• Mechanical aptitude plus demonstrated electrical/electronics troubleshooting ability
• Track record of independently diagnosing and resolving technical problems
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, wiring/terminations, motors, actuators, and sensors
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Proficiency with electrical test gear and common mechanical measurement tools
• Comfort operating without step-by-step procedures and within evolving documentation
• High attention to detail and quality
