    The Opportunity

    This position works out of our Irving, Tx location in the Core Diagnostics Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers. 

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to support a large-scale commercial and industrial facility totaling approximately 525,000 square feet of manufacturing, laboratory, and office space. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems that support critical operations in a regulated environment.

    What You’ll Work On

    • Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems across the campus

    • Support power distribution systems, panels, transformers, motors, VFDs, and controls

    • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure system reliability

    • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions with minimal downtime

    • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

    • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, safety standards, and company policies

    • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and facilities teams on system upgrades and projects

    • Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and commissioning

    • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state of Texas)

    • Minimum 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience

    • Strong experience working in large-scale facilities (manufacturing, labs, or similar environments preferred)

    • Working knowledge of:

      • Electrical distribution systems (low and medium voltage)

      • PLCs, motor controls, and automation systems

      • Lighting systems and building electrical infrastructure

    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    The base pay for this position is

    $26.50 – $53.00/hour

    In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
