Description Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Senior Electrical Supervisor for the Natchitoches Engineered Wood Products manufacturing facility located in Natchitoches, LA. The Sr. Electrical Supervisor is a full-time, salaried exempt role and reports to the Maintenance Manager. This role plans, leads, and directs the daily activities of a team of electricians, PLC Technicians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, and electrical maintenance for all equipment, buildings, and rolling stock. Key Functions: Executing electrical maintenance activities in assigned areas, with the safety of associates and contractors being the highest priority. Leading preventive & predictive electrical maintenance/process reliability in assigned shift and area. Analyzing data to ensure proper down day tasks. Administrative and reporting activities. Supporting the improvement of key performance indicators, continuous improvement of maintenance functions, and for department budget cost effectiveness. Developing and training associates including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Participating in and/or leading initiatives for capital projects and problem-solving activities as assigned. Assuring purchasing functions follow established policies and procedures. Utilizing preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime Supporting, maintaining, and improving processes associated with the computerized maintenance management system for process reliability. Facilitating team meetings & trainings with assigned team. Identifying safety, environmental, quality, and production issues. Providing leadership for the ongoing development of the maintenance team. Supporting training and development plans to improve skills, knowledge, and team performance. Encouraging innovation. Leading the team by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Staffing, recruiting and retaining talent. Other duties as assigned.
