The Senior Electrical/Mechanical Engineer will represent the company with engineering products and solutions.This position is contingent upon award of contract.Key Responsibilities:
Perform engineering analysis, design, development, and technical problem-solving in support of customer requirements.
Develop, review, and maintain engineering designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Support the design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of electrical and mechanical systems and components.
Analyze system and component performance and recommend design improvements or corrective actions.
Develop technical solutions in accordance with applicable engineering standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and project planning activities.
Coordinate engineering activities with project managers, program managers, technicians, and other technical personnel.
Support prototype development, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
Investigate technical issues and develop recommendations for resolution.
Prepare technical reports, test documentation, engineering assessments, and other required deliverables.
Provide technical support to proposals, task orders, and other business development activities as required.
Maintain awareness of applicable technical, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the Electrical/Mechanical engineering field, including relevant experience in a management or supervisory capacity and in the functional area of the project to be managed.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Currently possesses, or has the ability to obtain and maintain, a U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
