Responsibilities:
This is the third level of Electrical Foreman expertise.
- Designs, installs, and maintains all electrical equipment and installations in the Region to ensure that all operations are safe, profitable, and efficient.
- Conducts all operations in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the regulatory agencies.
- Makes repairs as required and oversees third-party services when necessary to utilize.
- Diagnose problems with all of Citation’s electrical equipment within the Region.
- Recommends improvements to supervisor.
- Familiarity with prices of goods and services from all available vendors in the region to ensure Citation receives the best value.
- Maintain working relationships with representatives of electrical power companies.
- Evaluate company operations in an effort to increase production by eliminating electrical downtime and lower operating costs.
- Monitors monthly electrical bills and reports any discrepancies to Region Superintendent.
- Sign and date field tickets related to all electrical work.
Qualifications:
- High School education or G.E.D.
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Foreman.
- Employment is contingent upon wearing all types of breathing air equipment and passing a pulmonary function test and a fit test.
- Successful completion of industry schools as scheduled by Citation.
- Successful completion of safety and regulatory training as scheduled by Citation.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Job duties involve working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Involves climbing up stairways 20 ft. in height while wearing a breathing apparatus.
- Ability to move in and out of trenches during line repairs, carrying tools, and wearing breathing air equipment.
- Lifting, pushing & pulling are required during the maintenance and repair of production equipment.
- Must be able to travel long distances between locations and offices and must maintain a clean driving record.
- Must be available at unpredictable hours to respond to storms and other large outages.
