We're partnering with a leading electrical contractor looking for an Electrical Estimator who knows how to turn drawings, specifications, and numbers into accurate, competitive bids.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages for electrical construction projects

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope

• Perform accurate material takeoffs and calculate labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs

• Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

• Identify scope gaps, pricing discrepancies, and potential project risks

• Prepare bid clarifications, inclusions, and exclusions

• Review estimates with estimating leadership before final submission

• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution

• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and meet bid deadlines

What You Bring

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, preferably electrical

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, and cost estimating

• Experience with Accubid estimating software preferred

• Familiarity with CAD or 3D software a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple bids and shifting deadlines

• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mentality

• Ability to travel up to 25%
