Johnson & Johnson, Robotics and Digital Solutions (RAD) group is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer, with a focus in High Speed Digital, Computing and A/V Electronics, located in Santa Clara, CA.

You:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will bring the expertise, technical depth, and passion needed to architect, design, integrate, and validate complex embedded digital systems using both commercial off-the-shelf and semi-custom components. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop robust and reliable system architectures, leveraging modeling, simulation, analysis, and testing to optimize electrical functionality and performance. You will create and maintain technical documentation, including design reviews, test reports, and theory-of-operation documents, while performing component-, board-, and subsystem-level testing to verify compliance with system requirements. This includes conducting EMI/EMC, ESD, and thermal evaluations, as well as developing custom test fixtures when needed. In addition, you will actively participate in design reviews and cross-functional Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (xFMEA) activities, identifying risks, driving root-cause investigations, and implementing solutions that enhance product quality, reliability, and overall system performance throughout the product development lifecycle.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $125,000.00 to $201,250.00
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
