Senior Electrical Engineer

Well-established and family friendly corporation in Saratoga County is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team.  This role would focus on the research, development, and design of power electronics products catering to a variety of exciting industries.  Our client offers significant room for growth, well-rounded benefits package, and a dynamic industry leading product.
 
Primary responsibilities will include:

• Using specialized design and drawing software to create electrical system designs
• Prototype power-electronic and control systems for motor and generator applications
• Working closely with clients on designs, modifications, and project timelines
• Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
• Identifying and resolving designs and recommending modifications/improvements
• Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of electrical design experience
• Experience working with power electronics, motor control, and or PCB design
• Experience utilizing a 3D Cad software; Solidworks or AutoCAD preferred
• Experience working with technical documentation; interpreting for internal and external shareholders
