Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems | Tampa, FL | $110K–$115K
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems) to join a growing team in Tampa, FL. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in power distribution, electrical system design, and analysis across commercial, industrial, or utility-scale projects.
What You'll Do:
Design and analyze electrical power systems including distribution, feeders, and switchgear
Perform load flow, short circuit, and coordination studies using industry tools (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower)
Develop one-line diagrams, construction drawings, and specifications
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and utility standards
Support projects from concept through construction and commissioning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support client-facing technical discussions
Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support field activities
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in power systems / electrical engineering
Strong knowledge of power distribution design and system analysis
Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, AutoCAD, or Revit
Experience with industrial, utility, or mission-critical projects preferred
PE license preferred (or in progress)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
