Senior Electrical Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to fill an immediate contract opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This is an onsite role supporting the design, troubleshooting, and field support of electronic systems used in a complex industrial technology environment.

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer with strong hands-on troubleshooting skills, particularly with printed circuit boards (PCBs), electromagnetic interference (EMI), and electronic product development.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic system issues
• Diagnose and resolve PCB-level hardware problems
• Support EMI/EMC troubleshooting and corrective actions
• Provide hands-on engineering support in the field as needed
• Assist with the design and development of new electronic products and systems
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend design or component improvements
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and field teams
• Support testing, validation, and implementation of design changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of electrical/electronics engineering experience
• Strong PCB troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
• Experience troubleshooting EMI/EMC-related issues
• Experience supporting electronic product design and development
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to work onsite and provide field engineering support as required
