Working onsite in Mooresville, NC, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. Own the architecture, integration, and reliability of all electrical, sensor, and data systems supporting Roush-Yates powered race engines across development, dynamometer, and race applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and validate electrical system architecture for engine development and race applicationsManage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and technical compliance of electrical componentsOversee production processing of electrical components, including lifecycle limits and issue resolutionSupport development and dyno testing by configuring required hardware and software systemsDiagnose and resolve electrical, sensor, and signal integrity issues in dyno and vehicle environmentsDevelop and apply new technology and instrumentation to improve system performance and reliabilitySupport ECU integration including CAN configuration, sensor validation, and I/O implementationSubmit engineering change orders and maintain documentation for new or modified components and processesjob qualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5–10 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of internal combustion engine fundamentals and professional engine control systemsExperience with motorsport data logging systems and CAN bus integrationProficiency with laboratory diagnostic equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, calibration tools)Ability to design and manufacture motorsport-type wiring harnessesHigh level of computer literacy (VBA, C/C++, LabView, or similar preferred)Preferred:Experience with McLaren ECU systems and ATLASProgramming experience (Python, MATLAB, VBA, C/C++)position requirementsOccasional travel to race and test eventsAbility to work non-standard hours aligned with race schedulesAbility to work in dyno and trackside environmentsequipment usedLabView, McLaren, Atlas, VBA, MS OfficeHarness construction hand toolsTest and measurement tools such as Oscilloscopes, function generators, calibration equipment, multimeter, etc.Click to apply!
