Sterling Engineering is partnering with a growing engineering organization to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in low voltage electrical and electronic design. We’re looking for an experienced engineer with 10+ years of electrical design experience who has developed products, components, or systems within a highly regulated manufacturing or production environment.

Schedule: 1st Shift | Onsite
Salary: $130,000–$160,000, based on experience

What You’ll Do
• Design and develop low voltage electrical and electronic systems and components
• Create and review electrical schematics, drawings, system architectures, and technical documentation
• Own complex electrical designs from concept through production and testing
• Perform design reviews and ensure designs meet technical, regulatory, and customer requirements
• Support prototype builds, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning
• Troubleshoot electrical design and performance issues and lead root cause investigations
• Develop and improve electrical design standards and engineering best practices
• Work closely with manufacturing, mechanical engineering, project management, operations, and other technical teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers
• Support continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives

What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience designing low voltage electrical or electronic systems and components
• Experience developing products or systems within a highly regulated manufacturing or production environment
• Strong electrical schematic design and design review experience
• Experience supporting designs through manufacturing, testing, validation, and implementation
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, IEEE, or IEC
• AutoCAD or similar electrical design software experience
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to serve as a senior technical resource and mentor other engineers
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain or maintain a Security Clearance
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience
