Position Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Boise, Idaho

Pay Rate: $75.00/hr

Position Description:

Join a leading team as a Senior Electrical Engineer in Boise, Idaho, where you'll lead innovative projects in semiconductor cleanrooms, laboratories, and high-tech industrial environments. This role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, oversee electrical design projects, and work on cutting-edge facilities. You'll collaborate directly with clients, owners, and contractors in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction documents. If you bring 12+ years of electrical engineering experience, NEC expertise, and a valid PE license, we're eager to connect with you to make a tangible impact on advanced industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead electrical design for power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Oversee design teams; perform quality reviews of engineering packages.
• Prepare technical specifications and bid/construction documents.
• Serve as electrical discipline lead or quality reviewer.
• Collaborate with owners and contractors, supporting on-site construction activities.
• Contribute to proposals and deliver innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Top Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow analyses.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (ability to obtain in Idaho preferred).
• Proven experience with electrical equipment specifications, vendor reviews, and field coordination.
• Ability to perform site inspections and operate effectively within construction environments.
• Bonus: Semiconductor or mission-critical/data center design experience, familiarity with Revit/BIM, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
