The Senior Duck Creek Business Analyst will represent the business and IT organization in leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives leveraging Duck Creek Technologies (Policy, Producer, Clarity, Reinsurance, DMS and Underwriter Workbench). This role acts as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders, system integrators, product vendors, and internal technology teams to ensure successful program execution aligned with enterprise objectives.
This role expects to be deeply involved in requirements discovery, documentation, solution validation, and business decision-making including strategic leadership capability and tactical hands-on BA execution to drive program success. The individual will drive requirements strategy, operating model alignment, solution validation, governance, and value realization across multi-year program road map.
This role will be based out of our regional office in Richardson, TX, (could also be worked from our office in Sarasota, FL), with the opportunity to work a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Mandatory Hands-On BA Experience Requirement The candidate must have strong, recent hands-on business analysis experience and should be comfortable personally performing:
This role is expected to personally own critical requirements, especially for complex underwriting, rating, integration, and regulatory scenarios. It is not a role limited to coordination or delegation.
Transformation & Program Leadership Lead business analysis workstream for large-scale Duck Creek implementations or upgrades. Drive requirements roadmap across releases and phases. Partner with Program Director, Product Owners, and Architecture teams to ensure alignment. Balance standard Duck Creek configuration vs customization strategy.

Solution Oversight Review functional design documents and configuration strategy. Validate rating logic, product configuration, workflow rules, and integrations. Oversee integration touchpoints (e.g., document management, payment gateways, third-party data providers). Ensure ACORD/XML alignment where applicable.
Testing & Readiness Lead UAT strategy and business validation. Ensure defect triage prioritization aligns with business risk. Support cutover planning and production readiness activities. Drive adoption and business readiness planning.

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $83,896-$129,201 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
