Senior DOD Technical Recruiter

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Senior DOD Technical Recruiter for a remote 6-month temporary contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Senior DOD Technical Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting for specialized positions across multiple locations, with an emphasis on Contract Administrator and Subcontract Administrator roles. This position requires a strong understanding of defense-industry recruiting, the ability to advise hiring teams, and experience developing effective sourcing and candidate-closing strategies.

Required Skills

" Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
" 6+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience.
" Full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, candidate qualification, networking, assessment, selection, and relationship management.
" Experience recruiting Contract Administrators or Subcontract Administrators for Department of Defense organizations or similar regulated environments.
" Ability to recruit for a broad range of positions across multiple geographic locations.
" Experience partnering with hiring managers to develop sourcing, assessment, and candidate-closing strategies.
" Ability to manage hiring-manager, candidate, and internal-partner expectations.
" Experience maintaining accurate candidate, search, and hiring activity documentation in an applicant tracking system.
" Understanding of recruiting compliance, talent acquisition procedures, and applicable DOD requirements.
" Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
" Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
" Ability to build relationships with candidates and diverse business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

" BrassRing Kenexa applicant tracking system experience.
" Phenom candidate relationship management experience.
" Paradox experience.
" Experience supporting national or multi-location recruiting campaigns.
" Extensive professional networks within the defense industry.

What You'll Do

" Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle for assigned positions.
" Source and engage qualified candidates through professional networks and recruiting channels.
" Recruit Contract Administrators, Subcontract Administrators, and other specialized professionals.
" Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and develop recruiting strategies.
" Screen, assess, and qualify candidates.
" Guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
" Develop new candidate pipelines and sourcing approaches.
" Maintain accurate recruiting records in the applicant tracking system.
" Ensure recruiting activities comply with established procedures and DOD requirements.
" Support employer-brand visibility within professional communities.
" Provide market insight and contribute to short- and long-term recruiting strategies.

Pay

" $43.11 per hour
