Senior Director – Strategic Accounts & Business Growth

The Opportunity: An established global engineering and technology consulting organisation is seeking a Senior Director to drive strategic account growth across complex enterprise customers.
This role focuses on developing executive-level relationships, expanding existing accounts, identifying new growth opportunities, and leading large-scale commercial engagements across engineering, digital transformation, technology, and managed services portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:

Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts.

Build relationships with senior executives and business leaders.

Develop and execute account growth strategies.

Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing customer environments.

Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.

Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to create customer-centric solutions.

Drive revenue growth through consulting, engineering, managed services, and digital transformation offerings.

Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and customer priorities.
Requirements:

Proven success in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development.

Experience selling consulting, engineering, technology, or digital transformation services.

Track record managing large strategic accounts and complex commercial engagements.

Experience engaging senior stakeholders including C-level executives.

Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Ability to operate independently in a client-facing leadership role.

Stable career progression with a history of exceeding revenue targets.
Highly Desirable:

Experience within Aerospace & Defence, Manufacturing, Industrial, Transportation, Mobility, Energy, or other engineering-intensive sectors.

Exposure to digital engineering, cloud, IoT, managed services, or digital transformation programmes.

Existing executive network within enterprise organisations.
