Portfolio: Primarily multi-brand select-service portfolio with approximately 30 hotels

Travel: Extensive travel is required

Lexima Lodging is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Sales Strategies to drive revenue growth, market share, and sales performance across a growing portfolio of select-service hotels. This role will support regional, area, and property-level sales teams while leading the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of Directors of Sales. The Senior Director will help build a strong sales culture, strengthen sales processes, and support continued company growth.

The ideal candidate has regional or area hotel sales leadership experience, multi-brand and multi-market expertise, and a proven track record of delivering measurable revenue results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute portfolio-wide sales strategies focused on revenue growth, market-share improvement, optimal business mix, and new-account acquisition.
  • Analyze hotel and market performance, including segmentation, pace, account production, STR results, competitive trends, and market intelligence, and translate findings into actionable sales priorities.
  • Take a highly active role in recruiting and interviewing property-level Director of Sales candidates, partnering with hotel and corporate leadership on selection, and leading the sales onboarding and integration of newly hired Directors of Sales to ensure clear expectations, strong early performance, and alignment with company sales standards.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and Operations to align sales, pricing, need-period, displacement, and commercial strategies.
  • Lead proactive business development across negotiated corporate, group, extended stay, government, project, association, SMERF, and other relevant segments.
  • Identify regional and portfolio-wide opportunities, support major account development and RFP strategy, and facilitate cross-selling among hotels.
  • Establish clear sales KPIs, prospecting expectations, pipeline disciplines, and performance standards; maintain accountability for both activity and results.
  • Drive and champion a consistent, high-performance sales culture throughout the company, engaging both General Managers and Directors of Sales across the portfolio and reinforcing shared ownership of proactive selling, urgency, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and measurable results.
  • Create scalable sales processes, onboarding, training, scorecards, performance reviews, and best practices that support continued portfolio growth.
  • Provide strategic and hands-on sales leadership for underperforming hotels, new openings, acquisitions, transitions, repositioning’s, and other priority assets.
  • Leverage brand sales organizations, programs, systems, and relationships across Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, and other hotel brands.
  • Serve as a strategic sales partner to executive leadership and provide concise reporting on portfolio performance, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Seasoned hotel sales executive with progressive leadership experience, including Regional Director of Sales, Area Director of Sales, Corporate Director of Sales, or comparable multi-property responsibility.
  • Proven success leading sales performance across multiple hotels, with strong select-service experience preferred.
  • Previous sales leadership experience with major hotel brands. 
  • Demonstrated record of driving revenue growth, increasing market share, developing new business, and improving underperforming assets.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel segmentation, revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, competitive performance, and RFP strategy.
  • Advanced working knowledge of hospitality sales and business-intelligence platforms, including Agency360/Demand360, Lanyon, Lighthouse, Cvent, STR, CRM platforms, RFP tools, and brand-specific systems.
  • Strong analytical, executive communication, presentation, negotiation, coaching, and relationship-management skills.
  • Extensive travel is required
