    Description

    In this exciting and challenging role, you will serve as the Product Line leader for new military fixed wing offerings, including Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) propulsion, in the Honeywell Aerospace Propulsion Engines business, reporting to the VP/GM of the Propulsion Engine Business Enterprise. As a Senior Director, Offering Leader Military Fixed Wing Propulsion Engines at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the product strategy and providing direction for pursuit capture by leading the sales and supporting functions, developing new product roadmaps, and holding the overall profit-and-loss oversight for the new programs.

    You will work out of our Phoenix Engines, AZ location. In this role, you will impact the growth and success of Honeywell Aerospace by achieving business objectives, formulating growth strategies, driving innovation, and leading a high-performing team. You will have the opportunity to engage closely with Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, Aftermarket, and the OEM Customer Business Teams to implement strong processes that better serve our customers.

    You will develop and implement business strategies to optimize and grow the Military Fixed Wing Engines business portfolio, inclusive of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) propulsion, at or greater than market rates by leading decisions on the product technology roadmap, new product introduction (NPI), breakthrough innovation, voice of the customer, and product portfolio. As the Offering Leader, you will also be involved with manufacturing, sourcing, and engineering planning decisions through the SIOP process. You will lead and execute the innovation and offering development processes that are aligned to customer needs, market trends, technology development and strategic plans. This will be done through leadership and collaboration with the cross-functional business teams. You will be accountable for revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control and aggressive time-to-market commitments for a growth pipeline while driving achievement of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the STRAP.

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • 10+ years of business management and leadership experience
    • 2+ years of P&L accountability experience and knowledge of the key financial documents (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, etc.)
    • Experience developing long-range strategic business plans
    • Experience establishing annual operating plans
    • Bachelor''s degree, or equivalent
    • Aerospace industry and Gas Turbine product knowledge and experience
    • Ability to qualify for and secure a US DOD Security Clearance

    • Proven experience in product or program management, with significant experience in leading NPI initiatives and teams.

    • Ability to integrate complex concepts and information with program management systems and processes
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
    • Proven track record of establishing procedures, best practices, and associated compliance
    • PMP Certification
    • Understanding of Agile concepts & SAFe framework
    • MS Project and JIRA experience.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Directly support VP/GM in developing the STRAP and AOP for the Military Fixed Wing Engine business
    • Drive future growth to expand the pipeline for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Breakthrough Initiative (BTI) programs from ideation to incubation to program launch readiness. Report on progress at monthly NPI and BTI MORs.
    • Team with HUE leader on targeted offering development and maturation projects using Z21 methodologies to create and evaluate business cases for launch. Convert VOC and differentiated technologies to market-back requirements and industry-leading system solutions.
    • Lead and/or support strategic Risk Share and Investment Partnership initiatives on key development programs in coordination with Sourcing to address technology, resource, experience and affordability gaps and constraints.
    • Work with sourcing and advanced manufacturing to lead and develop Non-Traditional Partners and Non-Traditional supply chain solutions that enable Honeywell Aerospace to win on cost and scale in the new CCA propulsion segment.
    • Align and coordinate strategic product roadmap plans with Advanced Technology, Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain
    • Work closely with Strategic Marketing to continuously evaluate significant market trends, competitor moves, acquisitions, new product launches, financial performance, major wins, etc. and understand the potential implications to our business.
    • Provide input and direction regarding Merger and Acquisition (M&A) and Venture Capital strategies for the business.
