    Description

    Job Description Summary:

The Coca-Cola Company is building a modern product organization for a business that operates at extraordinary scale. Our ambition is not simply to digitize existing work. We are building the products, platforms, and intelligent capabilities that will shape how Coca-Cola serves customers, accelerates growth, and operates in the future.

That means designing products that help customers do business with us more seamlessly, give sales and service teams better insight and decision support, and connect the workflows and data behind a complex operating system. The work spans customer experience, service enablement, sales experience, operations, and growth—with opportunities to build entirely new capabilities in areas like personalization, automation, AI-assisted workflows, and decision intelligence.

The role is a senior design leader in our North America UX practice, reporting into the Head of Product Design & Research. This is a hybrid role: you will lead and grow a team of designers while staying moderately hands-on in the work—a player-coach who models the craft they expect from others. Where Staff Designers drive strategy and craft across multiple product areas, the role operates at the Pillar level: co-owning the end-to-end experience vision with the Head of Design, setting design direction that spans the ecosystem, and serving as the standard-bearer for what great looks like across every team.

You will work in close partnership with the Head of Product Design & Research, Staff Designers, and UX Research to deliver best-in-class experiences for a wide range of internal users—the sales, service, finance, and revenue operations teams who run the business every day—as well as the customer-facing experiences through which the world does business with Coca-Cola.

    Scope and Impact

    • Portfolio-level experience direction across our digital product ecosystem—ensuring customers, sales and service teams, and operational users experience one coherent whole rather than a collection of toolsDigital enterprise and consumer experiences across Coca-Cola’s global brand portfolio
    • Sales, service, and operational tools used by the teams who run the business day to dayA growing team of product designers whom you will participate in hiring, leading, and developing
    • The design system and experience architecture that give our products coherence at scale, in partnership with the Head of DesignAI-enabled and intelligent product experiences, as personalization, automation, decision support, and agentic capabilities are integrated across our platform
    • The design practice itself: in partnership with the Head of Design, define and refine how we work, how we grow designers, and how design earns influence across the organization

      Responsibilities

      Co-Own the Experience Vision

Partner with the Head of Product Design & Research to define and evolve the end-to-end experience vision for the portfolio
    • Translate that vision into portfolio-level design direction, frameworks, and principles that empowered product teams can execute againstChampion simplicity, coherence, and usability across the portfolio, reducing fragmentation across journeys, tools, and workflows
    • Translate complex, interconnected workflows into simple, human-centered experiences that create measurable customer and business value

      Lead and Grow the Team

Hire, manage, and develop a team of product designers, building a bench of talent as the practice scales
    • Set clear expectations, give direct and generous feedback, and own performance, growth, and career development for your teamCreate the conditions for great work: clarity of direction, healthy team dynamics, and a culture of critique, curiosity, and craft excellence
    • Balance leading through others with leading by doing—knowing when to coach, when to pair, and when to pick up the work yourself

Lead the Most Consequential Design Work

Personally lead design on the most complex, ambiguous, and high-stakes initiatives in the portfolio—the work that defines what great looks like
    • Direct and align design work across product areas and initiative teams, ensuring coherence and quality across many user typesModel exceptional craft and hold the quality bar for every experience the practice ships
    • Introduce and champion new design approaches, tools, and methodologies—including AI-assisted design—that help teams move faster without sacrificing rigor

Shape Strategy at the Executive Level

Co-create product strategy with senior Product and Engineering leaders, shaping vision and roadmap from the start, not after the fact
    • Represent design in executive forums, crafting narratives that land with senior leadership and move stakeholders to alignmentPartner with UX Research to make insight a continuous, trusted input into strategy, prioritization, and investment—advocating for outcomes, not just artifacts
    • Anticipate and break down organizational and technical resistance, navigating ambiguity with confidence and earning trust through sound judgment

      Design for a Connected Ecosystem

Design across digital, operational, and support touchpoints, spanning customer-facing experiences and internal tooling
    • Bring systems thinking to how data, workflows, and decisions connect across products and platformsDefine cross-product frameworks and shared patterns for multi-role, multi-touchpoint experiences

      Build the Practice

    • Partner with the Head of Design to establish governance around design systems, accessibility, and experience standardsCo-define the rituals, frameworks, and ways of working that make the practice effective and scalable—and help it mature as it grows
    • Identify gaps in practice maturity and proactively close them, building the systems and infrastructure that allow other designers to do their best workMentor Staff and senior designers on craft, strategy, and influence; lead critique and review processes that raise the quality of the team’s work and develop design judgment across the organization
