IAPMO is seeking an experienced Director of Travel and Events to oversee corporate travel operations, event logistics, vendor partnerships, and departmental activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who excels at managing complex travel arrangements, negotiating vendor contracts, and delivering seamless travel and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Travel and Events department.
• Manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, passports, and visas.
• Coordinate travel logistics for corporate meetings, conferences, and events, including onsite support.
• Negotiate vendor contracts, manage travel budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, vendors, and internal departments.
• Resolve travel disruptions, emergencies, and scheduling challenges.
• Monitor travel expenses, reporting, and corporate travel card reconciliation.
• Identify opportunities to improve travel processes, efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate travel or travel industry experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing corporate meetings and events.
• Proficiency in Sabre and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and provide occasional after-hours support.

Salary $79,200-$120,000

( final salary will be determined based on education,experience and geographical location)
