    Primary Function:

The Senior Director, Program Management is the senior-most delivery leader for Dashiell’s enterprise transformation, owning end-to-end execution across the candidate ERP platform (IFS or Oracle Fusion), the construction management/PMIS platform (CMS/PMIS), the CRM/Salesforce replacement, and the connected application landscape. Business and functional requirements, and the overall transformation strategy, are set by Dashiell’s VP, Transformation; this role turns that strategy into an executable program, leads the transformation leadership team that delivers it, and is personally accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and benefits realization. The position will be based in our Houston, Texas office located at 12301 Kurland Drive, Suite 400, Houston, TX 77034 and will report to Dashiell’s VP, Transformation.

The Senior Director leads the PMO Lead, Change Management Lead, Data Lead, Reporting Lead, and Security & Controls Lead as a single, integrated delivery organization and serves as the day-to-day executive counterpart to the selected systems integrator(s) and other implementation partners. Beyond the transformation itself, the role holds a portfolio-level view across Dashiell’s other active and planned initiatives, including capital-project and facility-related technology initiatives and building and facility renovation projects, so the business can see what is happening, where, and when. The role also owns the line between interim and long-term solutions, ensuring tactical point solutions bridge the gap deliberately rather than quietly becoming permanent.

    Duties & Responsibilities

Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:

    • Own end-to-end delivery accountability for the enterprise transformation program, including ERP selection and implementation, the CMS/PMIS platform, the CRM/Salesforce replacement, and the connected application landscape, in partnership with the VP, Transformation.
    • Lead, structure, and develop the transformation leadership team (PMO, Change Management, Data, Reporting, and Security & Controls leads), setting priorities, resolving cross-workstream conflicts, and ensuring the group operates as one integrated program.
    • Translate business strategy and executive direction into an executable program plan, sequencing work across the ERP, CRM, CMS/PMIS, data, reporting, and security workstreams.
    • Own program-level scope, schedule, and budget outcomes; make or approve major trade-offs and escalate only enterprise-level risks and decisions to the VP, Transformation.
    • Maintain a current, holistic view of all active and planned programs across Dashiell, including capital-project and facility-related technology initiatives and building and facility renovation projects, so there is one place to answer “what is happening, where, and when.”
    • Proactively identify where programs overlap, draw on the same people or budget, or depend on one another, and flag conflicts before they cause rework, missed deadlines, or departments working at cross purposes.
    • Partner with the Change Management Lead, PMO Lead, and other program and project leads across the business to align timing, resourcing, and communications wherever programs intersect.
    • Maintain a log of interim and tactical point solutions in flight, including what each solves, its intended lifespan, and its retirement or absorption plan, and reconcile those timelines against the long-term ERP/platform roadmap to prevent unplanned technical debt.
    • Advise the VP, Transformation and business stakeholders on the trade-offs between an interim point solution and waiting for the long-term platform, so tactical build-or-buy decisions are made with the long-term timeline in view.
    • Serve as the senior escalation point and day-to-day executive counterpart to the selected systems integrator(s) and vendor leadership, holding partners accountable to SOWs, milestones, and quality commitments.
    • Chair or co-chair program steering committee and governance forums; prepare and deliver executive-level reporting on progress, risk, budget, and benefits realization.
    • Own benefits realization by ensuring the metrics defined in the business case are tracked and reported throughout delivery and after each go-live, so value delivered can be demonstrated, not assumed.
    • Build organizational capability for the transformation office by recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring talent and evolving the team structure as the program scales.
    • Partner with Quanta Services IT and corporate stakeholders to keep the program aligned with broader Quanta strategy, architecture, and standards.
    • Represent Dashiell’s transformation program to vendors, industry partners, and at relevant events as needed.
    • Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.

How You Will Make an Impact

    • Deliver one integrated transformation, not five disconnected workstreams, giving Dashiell modern ERP, CRM, and project management platforms.
    • Keep the program on track by making timely scope, schedule, and budget decisions and holding systems integrators and vendors accountable to their commitments.
    • Demonstrate the value of the investment by tracking and reporting benefits realization against the business case throughout delivery and after each go-live.
    • Prevent rework, missed deadlines, and conflicting decisions by giving the business a single, current view across programs and keeping interim point solutions aligned with the long-term platform roadmap.
    • Strengthen the organization by recruiting, mentoring, and developing the transformation leadership team and scaling it as the program grows.

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required. MBA, PMP, or PgMP certification is preferred but not required.

    • Minimum of twelve (12) years of program or project leadership on large-scale enterprise transformations (ERP/CRM/HR), including at least one full-lifecycle delivery in a senior program-leadership role, is required.
    • Minimum of five (5) years in a people-leadership role overseeing multi-disciplinary teams or leads is required.
    • Direct experience across multiple ERP platforms (e.g., IFS, Oracle Fusion/Cloud, SAP, or similar) gained on more than one implementation or employer, with the ability to evaluate and lead within any major ERP rather than advocate for a single platform.
    • Experience spanning program types beyond ERP/software, such as construction/capital-project management and facility or building renovation programs, with the ability to hold a portfolio-level view across dissimilar, concurrent programs and translate between their planning, risk, and reporting approaches.
    • Experience within engineering, construction, utilities, infrastructure, or large capital-project environments, including project-based operating models, is strongly preferred.
    • Proven track record leading multi-workstream, multi-vendor enterprise transformation programs end to end, and building and leading a PMO and the broader program organization around it.
    • Sound judgment on interim point solutions versus the long-term platform, including keeping each fix’s intended lifespan reconciled against the long-term roadmap so it does not become unplanned technical debt or duplicate work already underway.
    • Skilled at spotting resourcing conflicts, timeline overlaps, and cross-program dependencies early and resolving them collaboratively with other program and project leads rather than escalating every conflict.
    • Experience holding systems integrators and vendors accountable at a contractual and relationship level, including SOW and milestone governance.
    • Program financial management at scale, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business-case/ROI tracking.
    • Working familiarity with the full transformation landscape (ERP such as IFS or Oracle Fusion, CRM, CMS/PMIS, data/reporting, and security & controls) sufficient to integrate decisions across workstreams.
    • Strong executive presence and comfort presenting to C-suite, board-level, and steering-committee audiences.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders and document decisions clearly.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across operations, finance, HR, supply chain, IT, and HSE, and to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on quality, security, and stability.
    • A structured, detail-oriented, delivery-focused mindset, comfortable working through ambiguity, with a high level of ownership, integrity, and professionalism.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit for extended periods during computer-based work.
    • Ability to stand and walk intermittently throughout the workday.
    • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
    • Occasional travel to other offices or meeting locations.

    Environmental Conditions

    • Primarily climate-controlled office environment.
