Location: Palm Desert, CA
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Managed Care Operations to provide strategic leadership across multiple operational functions within a managed care environment. This individual will serve as a key resource for claims operations, partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team, and drive initiatives focused on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational leadership across multiple managed care departments and leaders.
• Oversee and support approximately 4-5 directors and their respective teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for claims operations, workflows, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and performance metrics.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of claims management experience required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of claims operations, claims processing, and managed care workflows.
• Medicare Advantage experience highly preferred.
• Experience leading teams, departments, or operational functions within a healthcare organization.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and effectively communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with healthcare systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
