Description

Kforce's client, a growing and dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, strategic analysis, and business performance management initiatives. This high-impact leadership role partners closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights that drive decision-making, operational excellence, and long-term growth. This hybrid role is located in the Saint Louis, MO area. The client offers salary and benefits, relaxed-dress business attire and other company discounts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's FP&A function
  • Deliver financial and operational analysis that supports strategic planning and business objectives
  • Drive forecasting accuracy through detailed analysis of business performance, trends, and financial assumptions
  • Provide executive leadership with meaningful reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and actionable recommendations
  • Lead scenario planning, business modeling, and growth strategy evaluations
  • Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and other key financial metrics to identify opportunities and risks
  • Monitor business performance and investigate variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year results
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop, manage, and optimize departmental budgets
  • Support executive presentations, board materials, and strategic business reviews
  • Oversee financial reporting systems and improve analytical processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects to support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business strategy, consulting, or related disciplines
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing business decisions
  • Exceptional problem-solving and business acumen
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
