Summit Therapeutics is preparing for the US launch of ivonescimab, an intravenous oncology therapy for patients with EGFR-mutated non-squamous NSCLC in the post-TKI setting. This is Summit''s first commercial launch, and we are building the commercial infrastructure from the ground up. The National Senior Director, Field Excellence is the single operational counterpart to the VP Sales. This role does not carry a sales quota and does not conduct promotional activity with customers. It exists to absorb the full operational burden from the sales organization at every level so that every sales leader can focus on what matters most: building prescriber relationships and ensuring appropriate patients have access to ivonescimab. This role manages two Directors of Field Excellence (East and West), who each partner with an Area Business Director. Each Director in turn manages a team of Field Excellence Managers, each of whom partners with one Regional Sales Director in a named geography.
