Location: Rochester Hills, Michigan
Position Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $200,000–$240,000 annually
Position Overview
Reliance One, Inc. is hiring a Senior Director of Human Resources for one of our established clients in the manufacturing industry.
A manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead its people strategy across multi-site operations. This executive will align HR priorities with business objectives, operational performance, and long-term growth while serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team.
The Sr Director of HR will oversee all human resources functions, develop organizational capabilities, and drive accountability for HR performance and business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute workforce strategies that support growth, productivity, quality, and profitability.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive organizational performance, transformation, and culture.
- Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and executive compensation programs.
- Strengthen employee engagement, retention, and workforce development.
- Direct labor and employee relations, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Lead organizational change and restructuring initiatives.
- Ensure effective HR compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Use HR systems and analytics to guide decisions and measure results.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive human resources experience, including 7+ years in senior HR leadership roles.
- Proven HR leadership experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Automotive, Tier 1, or Tier 2 supplier experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational change, restructuring, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR initiatives to operational and financial objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree and SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent senior HR certification preferred.
