The Position
Senior Director, DMPK
Evommune is hiring a Senior Director, DMPK to provide senior-level scientific, strategic, and functional leadership for DMPK across our discovery and development portfolio. This role is critical to advancing our small-molecule pipeline from early discovery through clinical development.
The Senior Director, DMPK will serve as the senior DMPK program lead and subject matter expert, with accountability for defining and executing ADME, PK, and PK-PD strategies across programs. This individual will provide strategic guidance on candidate selection, IND-enabling activities, translational strategy, and first-in-human dose projections, while influencing key program and portfolio decisions.
This role reports to the Vice President, Nonclinical Development and offers the opportunity to play a visible, influential role in shaping Evommune’s growing pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and scientific leadership for DMPK, PK, and PK-PD across discovery and development programs, establishing the overall DMPK strategy and priorities for assigned programs
- Serve as the senior DMPK program lead, with accountability for study strategy, design, execution, interpretation, and reporting
- Develop and implement DMPK strategies aligned with project and portfolio objectives, including candidate selection and first-in-human dose predictions
- Partner closely with Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, CMC, Bioanalytical, and Clinical teams to support integrated program advancement
- Influence program strategy and key development decisions by integrating DMPK data with broader nonclinical and clinical considerations
- Oversee the design, analysis, and execution of in vivo and in vitro DMPK studies, ensuring timely communication of results to project teams and senior leadership
- Provide expert interpretation of DMPK data and present findings to internal stakeholders and external partners
- Author and/or oversee PK and DMPK sections of regulatory submissions (IND, IB, CTA, IMPD, NDA/BLA) and support regulatory interactions
- Provide DMPK leadership and subject matter expertise in interactions with U.S. and international regulatory agencies, as appropriate
- Manage and collaborate with CROs, consultants, and external partners to ensure high-quality execution and efficient use of resources
- Ensure scientific rigor, data integrity, and appropriate documentation across all DMPK activities
- Identify emerging scientific, technical, and regulatory considerations and translate them into DMPK strategies that support portfolio objectives
- Help define and evolve Evommune’s DMPK capabilities, operating model, and external partnerships as the pipeline grows
Qualifications
- PhD in pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, or a related discipline
- 12+ years of progressive small-molecule DMPK experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with demonstrated leadership across discovery and development
- Proven track record of leading DMPK strategy for discovery and development programs
- Deep expertise in ADME, PK, and PK-PD with experience translating preclinical data to clinical development
- Experience with clinical candidate selection and first-in-human dose projections
- Hands-on experience analyzing PK and PK-PD data using relevant modeling and analysis tools
- Experience guiding the development and validation of bioanalytical methods for quantifying drug candidates and metabolites
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines supporting small-molecule development, including preparation and review of DMPK sections for regulatory submissions
- Experience supporting or leading interactions with U.S. and international regulatory agencies
- Demonstrated ability to influence program strategy and decision-making through DMPK insight
- Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level across multidisciplinary teams and influence scientific and development leaders without direct authority
- Experience advancing multiple programs and effectively prioritizing DMPK activities across a portfolio is strongly preferred

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $230,000-$280,000 and the position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and/or equity-linked compensation. Salary ranges are determined by role, level and location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
