American Progress is seeking a Senior Director for its Digital Communications team to drive the organization's social media, email, and digital marketing efforts to advance and amplify the organization's policy initiatives and events. This positionwill draw heavily on colleagues' expertise in social media, email strategy, audience acquisition, digital fundraising, and analytics to play an integral role within American Progress' broader digital engagement capabilities. Working across the organization, this individual will collaborate extensively with the Digital Technology, Creative, Media, Events, Advocacy, and policy teams, as well as other key stakeholders, to ensure American Progress' digital presence successfully elevates its policy priorities and strategic plan.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic vision and creative leadership for the Digital Communications team, bringing a strong blend of creative, technological, and marketing expertise to the role. They will also have a proven track record of executing multiplatform digital strategies within policy- or advocacy-driven organizations. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven organization with the progressive values of American Progress.
