Position's key area of focus will be sourcing initiatives that are primarily categories with high to very high spend, complexity, risk and sensitivity. You are recognized as an expert negotiator with established customer trust with broad expertise in principles of negotiation and demonstrated thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions. You will interpret complex internal or external business issues and takes a broad perspective on identifying and executing solutions. In addition, you will provide project leadership for back-office team members (finance, contract administration, etc.) and may sometimes direct other team members on specific tasks and objectives to complete and prioritizeKey ResponsibilitiesLead complex sourcing and contracting initiatives from strategy development through contract execution and implementation.Independently manage multiple high-priority projects, timelines, and negotiations while consistently delivering results on schedule.Serve as a subject matter expert within assigned categories, maintaining deep knowledge of products, suppliers, market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.Develop and execute innovative contracting and negotiation strategies that optimize value, mitigate risk, and align with organizational objectives.Analyze supplier performance, financial reports, market intelligence, product pipelines, and competitive landscapes to drive informed sourcing decisions.Lead complex corporate and master agreement negotiations with suppliers across multiple business units.Partner with clinicians, physicians, executives, and customer stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that meet customer needs and organizational goals.Present sourcing strategies, recommendations, and award decisions to executive leadership, advisory boards, and other governance groups.RequirementsBachelor's Degree required (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance)7+ years of relevant work experience with experience in strategic sourcing and negotiating a variety of contracts in the Capital Sourcing.Proven track record of achieving results with Strategic Sourcing, Contract Negotiation. Contract Management and Supply Chain Operations.Healthcare experience highly preferred.
