The Senior Director,CategoryStrategy – Tea plays a critical role in shaping the future of our tea portfolio by defining clear, differentiatedterritoriesthatdrive growth, relevance, and margin expansionfor our Tea category.This role sits at the intersection of global strategy, consumer insight, innovation, andmarket levelexecution, translatinglong‑termcategoryambitioninto impactfulbusiness results.

WhatYou’llDo for Us
Lead the development and stewardship ofthecategory strategy forTCCC’s tea business, drivingvalue, volume, share, profit, andlong‑termcategorygrowthby clearly defining where to play and how to winandensuringalignment with system priorities.
Act as thecategorychampionacross the organization,with full accountability forend to endperformancetrackingfor the category, setting guardrails and governance for the category.
Collaborate withHuman Insight,Strategy,commercial,IMXandinnovationsteams to uncover deep consumer,culturaland commercialinsightsthat informcategorystrategy, innovation, and channel activationopportunities.
Leadlearning agendasincluding business planningon Tea categoryworkingclosely withthe network of category leadersin the OUs and the markets,includingunderstanding/trackingindustry widedevelopmentsand continuous optimizationof ourinitiativesbasedonnewinsights.
Articulate and influencelong‑terminnovationroadmaps, newbusinessmodels, and strategic partnership opportunitiesto win this space.
Requirements & Qualifications
Master’s degree in marketing, business, ora relatedfield.
10+ years of brand or marketing experience withinconsumer packagedgoods, with global scope and direct accountability for global ormulti‑regioninitiatives.
Experience managing complex category portfolios and balancingshort‑termperformance withlong‑termequity building.
Proven ability to translate marketingobjectivesinto integrated strategies and plans across multiple consumer touchpoints, includingpoint‑of‑purchase.
Strong consumer and cultural insight capability, with experienceleveragingdata, analytics, and research to inform strategy and measure effectiveness.
Financial acumen, including experience applying return on investment, value chain analysis, and portfolio management principles to marketing decisions.
Track recordof successfully launching new products from concept through commercialization andin‑marketperformance.
Excellent storytelling and persuasive communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and influencingcross‑functionalstakeholders.
Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and inspiringhigh‑performingmarketing teams.
Digital, data, and artificial intelligence fluency relevant to modern brand building, including media, personalization, and performance optimization.
Comfortoperatingin ambiguity, navigating matrixed organizations, and collaborating across cultures and geographies.
