Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Test Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing test solutions for semiconductor products. This role bridges design and manufacturing, ensuring product quality and yield targets are met through efficient test program development, hardware interface design, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Design: Develop comprehensive test plans for new products, including probe and final test strategies.
• Hardware Development: Design and qualify load boards, probe cards, and test interfaces (high-speed, high-density).
• Test Program Development: Write, debug, and optimize test programs using ATE (Automated Test Equipment) platforms.
• Yield Optimization: Analyze test data, identify yield limiters, and implement improvements to meet production targets.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Design, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and support NPI (New Product Introduction) ramps.
• Debugging: Perform bench-level validation and hardware bring-up to ensure electrical signal integrity and robust test execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience or Masters degree in Engineering and 3+ years of related experience
• Experience with ATE platforms and high-speed digital/analog testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python).
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, probe card design, and PCB layout constraints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is USD 91,100.00 To USD 146,000.00
