    Description

    Job Description:
    The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, operating, and improving CI/CD, deployment, and operational workflows supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure programs. This role focuses on ensuring deployment reliability, operational visibility, and environment stability across cloud and on-prem hybrid systems while supporting fast-moving delivery teams operating under evolving monthly scopes.
    The engineer will partner closely with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) engineers, architects, and delivery teams to operationalize infrastructure designs, reduce dependency on vendor-provided DevOps support, and maintain consistent execution as priorities shift.

    Essential Functions:
    • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure and platform deployments
    • Support Linux-based environments, including scripting and automation using Bash and Python
    • Operate and improve deployment automation across cloud and on-prem hybrid environments
    • Monitor and maintain deployment reliability, availability, and stability as scope changes month-to-month
    • Implement and support monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve operational visibility
    • Partner with Terraform/IaC engineers to operationalize architecture and infrastructure workflows
    • Troubleshoot deployment, environment, and pipeline issues across multiple systems and teams
    • Support release management, rollback strategies, and production change controls
    • Reduce reliance on vendor-specific tooling and external DevOps dependencies through internal automation
    • Document operational procedures, runbooks, and deployment standards
    • Support Agile delivery teams by adapting pipelines and workflows to evolving requirements
    • Ensure secure access controls and best practices across CI/CD and operational tooling

    Required Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's Degree Required 8+ Years of Experience

    Qualifications:
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Strong experience with Linux systems administration
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash and Python)
    • Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
    • Experience supporting cloud and on-prem hybrid environments
    • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
    • Experience supporting enterprise-scale delivery teams with changing scope and priorities
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and operational issues
    • Experience working alongside infrastructure and architecture teams
    • Strong documentation and communication skills
    • Experience supporting telecom, infrastructure, or SDN-related environments
    • Familiarity with Terraform-based infrastructure workflows
    • Exposure to regulated or security-conscious enterprise environments
