About the Opportunity
Join a cloud infrastructure DevOps team that designs, automates, and operates scalable, secure environments across multiple cloud providers. This automation-first team partners with product and customer-facing groups to deliver provider-agnostic Infrastructure as Code and containerized services supporting a wide range of mission-driven customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Terraform; debug and enhance existing modules.
- Run and modify Ansible playbooks to manage customer environments.
- Use GitLab (multi-repo) workflows to maintain infrastructure; create and review merge requests.
- Build and deploy containerized services with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot connectivity by analyzing traffic flow between customer and hosted environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and SOPs for systems and networks.
- Implement monitoring, configuration management, and logging for multi-tenant, multi-cloud environments.
- Operate with a security-first mindset, applying IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege practices.
- Leverage generative AI where appropriate to improve efficiency and quality within security guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen only; must hold sole US citizenship (no dual citizenship).
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD (e.g., Concourse, GitLab), HashiCorp Vault, and identity management.
- Strong Linux administration and OS internals; networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, DNS, topologies, SDN).
- Proficiency with IaC (Terraform modules) across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (branches, MRs).
- Scripting for automation (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, least privilege, and logging/log processing in cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to debug/optimize code and automate routine tasks.
- Strong, systematic problem-solving with clear communication and ownership.
Work Environment
Hybrid role based in Austin, TX, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Onsite presence is typically 3 4 days/week and may increase depending on project and customer needs.
