Kforce has a client that is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Designer Drafter in Tampa, FL.
Summary:
The client is looking for a Technical Drafter to create and maintain accurate technical drawings, schematics, and design documentation for engineering and construction projects. This role works closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications. Responsibilities include preparing new drawings, revising existing plans, incorporating design changes, and maintaining organized project records.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting within engineering, utility, construction, or infrastructure environments
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and related drafting/design software
- Strong understanding of engineering, architectural, and construction drawing principles
- Experience developing and maintaining technical drawings, schematics, and design documentation
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to drafting accuracy and quality
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- CAD certifications are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
