Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Program Manager Engineering (DPME) to be part of the Space Ground Systems (SGS) team. The DPME will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight for complex engineering programs. These responsibilities include ensuring product quality, cost, and schedule management of the engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting both technical and business objectives.

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE (OR HIGHER)
Candidate must be on site in Boulder, CO, one day / week. Other days can be remote.
For Program Planning Events or other events as needed, required on site in Boulder, CO, five days / week (estimated 5-10 instances per year)
Position may also require visits to Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, CO (estimated 5-10 instances per year)
