About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-performing analytics team working on complex, real-world problems across multiple industries. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions that drive meaningful business impact.
You'll work on a variety of projects, ranging from optimizing operations to building machine learning and AI-driven applications, while continuing to grow your technical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into data-driven solutions
- Perform exploratory data analysis and identify key insights
- Build, test, and deploy machine learning and AI models
- Develop and evaluate models using statistical techniques and experimentation (including A/B testing)
- Work with modern AI approaches such as large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) when applicable
- Deploy solutions via APIs or data pipelines and monitor performance over time
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate solutions into applications
- Ensure models are accurate, explainable, and scalable
- Optimize performance, cost, and efficiency of models and pipelines
What You'll Work With
- Python and SQL for data science and analytics
- Distributed computing tools like Spark/PySpark
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Tools like Airflow, Databricks, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Modern AI/ML techniques including deep learning and GenAI (nice to have)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience applying machine learning to real-world datasets
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark)
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern data tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
