Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Data Quality Analyst to support data integrity, governance, and compliance initiatives across our Commercial Banking organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory readiness of data used for key reporting obligations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and commercial banking data.

Responsibilities:

Regulatory Data Compliance & Quality

• Ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory reporting requirements, including FR 2052a, FR Y‑14Q/Y‑14M, CRA, and BSA/AML.

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify data quality gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies.

• Define, document, and maintain data quality rules, controls, and associated metadata.

Data Governance & Lineage

• Conduct data lineage analysis to trace end-to-end data flows across systems and processes.

• Maintain data documentation, frameworks, and governance standards in alignment with enterprise data policies.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate, triage, and resolve data issues.

Business & Technical Analysis

• Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications.

• Perform data profiling, data modeling analysis, and metadata management.

• Facilitate cross-functional working group sessions to drive alignment and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data profiling methodologies.

• Expertise in data quality principles, frameworks, and regulatory reporting.

• Experience with data modeling, lineage analysis, and metadata management.

• Familiarity with major regulations including FR Y‑14Q, BSA/AML, and 2052a.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritize multiple initiatives.

• Experience leading or facilitating cross-functional working groups.

• Strong background in financial services, especially within Commercial Banking.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience with data quality tools such as Ab Initio IT Express, Alteryx, Qualytics, or similar. (preferred)

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery. (preferred)

• Knowledge or hands‑on exposure to AI platforms, including Tachyon, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT. (preferred)
