Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise data platform and data transformation programs.
- Develop program roadmaps, project plans, milestones, resource plans, budgets, and delivery strategies.
- Coordinate multiple technical workstreams across Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Management, Cloud, and Business teams.
- Manage implementation and enhancement initiatives involving Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, Ataccama, or comparable enterprise data platforms.
- Partner with technical teams delivering ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions.
- Drive initiatives involving data orchestration, data modeling, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data integration.
- Lead programs involving Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Data Cataloging.
- Establish program governance, status reporting, risk/issue management, dependency tracking, and executive communications.
- Manage cross-functional technical teams and ensure alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support Waterfall or hybrid delivery models when appropriate.
- Work with teams using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Identify delivery risks and blockers and develop mitigation and resolution plans.
- Ensure data privacy, security, compliance, quality, and governance requirements are incorporated into delivery.
- Support DevOps/DataOps practices and continuous improvement across enterprise data programs.
- Partner with technical leadership on opportunities to enable AI/ML capabilities through enterprise data platforms.
- Present program progress, risks, decisions, and key metrics to senior leadership.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience managing complex technology, data, or enterprise transformation projects.
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise data platform, data engineering, or data management initiatives.
- Experience working with one or more modern enterprise data platforms such as:
- Snowflake
- Palantir Foundry
- Ataccama
- Databricks
- Azure Synapse
- AWS Redshift
- Google BigQuery
- Strong understanding of data engineering and modern data architecture.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data integration, data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures.
- Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, data lineage, metadata, data cataloging, or MDM.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and multiple workstreams.
- Experience delivering programs using Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar project/program management tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
- Master's degree in a technical or business-related field.
- PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or similar certification.
- Experience with Ataccama, Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview, SAP MDG, or comparable data governance/MDM platforms.
- Experience in utilities, energy, healthcare, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with DevOps/DataOps.
- Experience supporting AI/ML or MLOps initiatives through enterprise data platforms.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud data modernization or transformation programs..
- Assortment analytics.
- Pricing and promotion analytics.
- Customer success, user enablement, onboarding, or analytics-platform adoption experience.
- Experience creating business case studies and executive presentations.
