Description

Overview:

TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide.

Title: Senior Data Operations Analyst
Duration: 8 Months
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90069
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description:
About the Role
  • Our team maintains the centralized platform for global content and campaign planning.
  • Senior leaders across marketing, publicity, and programming rely on this dataset to make decisions, but they don't always have the capacity or process to maintain it themselves.
  • This role exists to close that gap.
  • You'll be embedded in the weekly rhythm of several stakeholder teams: attending their meetings, capturing what they know, confirming it with the accountable leaders, and turning it into clean, structured, trusted data.
  • Over time you'll be one of the few people who sees the dataset and the workflow end-to-end, which puts you in a position to spot conflicts, surface friction, and recommend improvements no one else can see.
  • The dataset includes unreleased slate, production, and campaign information, so discretion is a baseline requirement of the role.
  • This is a contract engagement, and the workflow is being actively built and refined. The person in this seat is a direct contributor to that design.
Responsibilities:
  • Attend recurring stakeholder meetings and capture decisions, data points, action items, and open questions
  • Confirm data directly with accountable business leaders before entry
  • Enter and maintain records accurately and within established turnaround expectations
  • Handle confidential and pre-release information with discretion, including embargoed titles, unannounced projects, and internal timelines
  • Handle in-the-moment stakeholder requests, triaging what can be entered directly versus what needs confirmation
  • Come to weekly alignment prepared with the state of your work
  • Identify and escalate data conflicts, stale records, and process friction
  • Maintain a running observations log and bring recommendations on data health and cross-team patterns
  • Provide direct feedback on the workflow itself to inform ongoing process design
What We're Looking For:
  • This role is highly visible and largely self-directed.
  • It suits someone who works proactively without close oversight, is genuinely curious about the business behind the data, and is comfortable operating in a process that's still being built.
  • Strong candidates are direct communicators who can hold their own with senior stakeholders, and are trusted with sensitive information.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in a data analyst, internal research, business operations, or reporting role; rigor, judgment, and stakeholder fluency matter more than depth of technical background
  • Entertainment or media industry background: content slates, production and release timelines, title-level data
  • Demonstrated strength turning unstructured input (meetings, conversations, documents) into structured, reliable data
  • Proven track record handling confidential or pre-release information in a professional setting
  • Strong stakeholder management: direct experience working with senior leaders, managing competing inputs, and holding your ground on data accuracy
  • Comfort with low-code/no-code tooling and relational data concepts tables, linked records, formulas, views
  • Excellent written communication: clear notes, clear status, clear escalations
Preferred:
  • Airtable experience, including formulas, views, and interfaces
  • Marketing data experience (campaign planning, media, creative operations)

About Company

WE THE TEKWISSEN PEOPLE

TekWissen offers you a broader portfolio of services, industry-leading solutions, and the meaningful innovations that give you greater flexibility and speed to respond to market dynamics, reduced costs and risk to improve enterprise performance, and increased productivity to enable growth.

To keep pace with global market demands, TekWissen keeps its finger on the pulse of change. Our organized approach to guiding a project from its inception to closure. Managing projects is becoming more and more important as we enter the digital era. To cope with the pace that this transition demands, a method is required to manage projects so they can yield quality work, while incorporating efficient use of time and resources.

Project involves identifying which quality standards are relevant to the project and determining how to satisfy them.

It is important to perform quality planning during the Planning Process and should be done alongside the other project planning processes because changes in the quality will likely require changes in the other planning processes, or the desired product quality may require a detailed risk analysis of an identified problem. It is important to remember that quality should be planned, designed, then built in, not added on after the fact.

Capabilities and accomplishments in one TekWissen business enhance the opportunity for success in the others. Put simply, TekWissen's unique combination of attributes promotes success.
