Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in entertainment or media data operations, stakeholder management, and low-code tooling and a proven ability to turn unstructured inputs into structured, reliable title-level data that informs scheduling, campaign, and resourcing decisions.

Role Overview

Our team maintains the centralized platform for global content and campaign planning. Senior leaders across marketing, publicity, and programming rely on this dataset to make decisions, but they do not always have the capacity or process to maintain it themselves. This role exists to close that gap. You will be embedded in the weekly rhythm of stakeholder teams, attending meetings, capturing inputs, confirming details with accountable owners, and converting information into clean, structured, and trusted data. The dataset includes unreleased slate, production, and campaign information, so discretion is required. This is a contract engagement designed to mature the workflow while automation is layered in over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend recurring stakeholder meetings and capture decisions, data points, action items, and open questions.
  • Confirm data directly with accountable business leaders before entry.
  • Enter and maintain records accurately and within established turnaround expectations.
  • Handle confidential and pre-release information with discretion, including embargoed titles and unannounced projects.
  • Triaging in-the-moment stakeholder requests and determining required confirmation paths.
  • Prepare and present weekly status on data health, progress, and risks.
  • Identify and escalate data conflicts, stale records, and process friction.
  • Maintain an observations log and recommend improvements to workflow and cross-team alignment.
  • Contribute to the design and refinement of low-code workflows and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in data analyst, internal research, business operations, or reporting roles.
  • Entertainment or media industry background with content slates, production and release timelines, and title-level data.
  • Ability to transform unstructured inputs into structured, reliable datasets.
  • Proven handling of confidential or pre-release information in professional settings.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and insistence on data accuracy.
  • Comfort with low-code/no-code tooling and relational data concepts, including tables, linked records, formulas, and views.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
  • Excellent written communication with clear notes, status, and escalations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Airtable experience, including formulas, views, and interfaces.
  • Marketing data experience in campaign planning, media, or creative operations.
  • Experience with Asana, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
