Senior Data Migration Validation Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local Phoenix candidates only) | Hybrid (1 day/week onsite or as needed)
We are seeking a Senior Data Migration Validation Analyst to ensure end-to-end data integrity for a complex migration from a legacy Mainframe system through SQL Server staging databases into Salesforce Service Cloud. This role is responsible for data reconciliation, validation, schema mapping verification, Salesforce data quality assurance, and defect triage to ensure zero data loss and accurate relational mapping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and reconcile data across Mainframe, SQL Server, and Salesforce environments.
- Review source-to-target mapping documents and develop complex SQL validation scripts.
- Verify Salesforce data loads, object relationships, External IDs, and schema integrity using SOQL, Data Loader, and Workbench.
- Identify, document, and resolve data migration defects with ETL and Salesforce teams.
- Perform automated cross-system data comparisons using Python (Pandas), Excel, or Power Query.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Data Conversion Testing/Validation.
- Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, data profiling).
- Knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, SOQL, and data loading tools.
- Experience validating legacy data, including fixed-width files and EBCDIC-to-ASCII conversions.
