We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Orchestration. The Ideal candidate will have deep experience in:

  • ServiceNow: CMDB, Data Defect Management, Workflows and Notifications, Triggering events.
  • Integrating data sets to CMDB to track up/down stream impacts.
  • Orchestration between GCP and Salesforce.

Certifications Desired:

  • MUST HAVE: ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • MUST HAVE: DCAM: Certification: Data Management Capability Assessment Model (Best practice for data management & analytics)
  • ServiceNow: IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • CIMP: Certified Information Management Professional
  • COBIT 2019 certification
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • CDMC: Cloud Data Management Capabilities

Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm Central with the ability to work additional hours as project needs demand.

Incumbent should reside within the Arvest 4 State Operational Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

A Senior Data Engineer at Arvest designs and develops data platform solutions. They use common data architecture practices to architect, design, and develop data/analytic platforms that are used to produce analytics products, such as; reports, dashboards, ML models, etc. Senior Data Engineers build and implement the data architecture plan and are responsible for moving, integrating, and cleansing data. They mentor others through technical and professional development. Senior Data Engineers work on highly collaborative agile teams and break down their work from stories into tasks, identify dependencies, and test and confirm acceptance criteria of work.

What You'll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Design database solutions that meet business requirements and prove robust, stable, scalable, and adaptable over time.

Lead root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex problems, and perform impact analysis of proposed changes.

Collaborate with key stakeholders and various Product teams to advise on the most appropriate database technologies and provide recommendations as needed.

Inform the development and growth of data environments, implementing solutions that are easily automated and allow for quick failure identification.

Standardize new design approaches that can be adopted across teams and evaluate the feasibility of solutions.

Work closely with Solution and Software Architects to understand and influence the current and future state of technology.

Identify and understand anomalies and data quality issues and address quality and integrity issues.

Take an active role in cross-product teams while promoting the re-use of data across the Company.

Continuously perform code reviews by testing own work and reviewing tests performed by more junior team members.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Toolbox for Success:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.

5 years of experience in technical design and development.

2 years of experience with data methodologies and advanced data structures.

Knowledge in the following:

o SQL (DBT preferred)

o Building complex data sets

o Feature engineering

o Data science lifecycle

o Enterprise ETL tools (DataFlow, Dataproc, Data Fusion, DataStage, Informatica, or similar)

o Structured and unstructured data sources

o Fluency in Python, Java, Kafka, and C#

o Pipeline Orchestration of data workloads (Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer)

o Standardization, security, governance, and compliance

o Docker/Containerized applications

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Preferred:

Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI)

Cloud Technologies

Prior experience in banking or financial services.
