Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong Denodo experience to design, build, and maintain scalable virtualized data products and semantic-layer solutions. This role will partner closely with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, AI Engineers, and Business SMEs to deliver trusted, governed, and AI-consumable data assets.

Local to NJ (Hybrid mode preferred but we are open for remote too)

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong Denodo experience to design, build, and maintain scalable virtualized data products and semantic-layer solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data integration, virtualization, API enablement, and cloud-based ETL development.
This role will partner closely with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, AI Engineers, and Business SMEs to deliver trusted, governed, and AI-consumable data assets.

"Develop and maintain layers of views;

Data Engineering
"Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services.
"Integrate data from multiple source systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and operational applications.
"Support creation of canonical data models and semantic-layer entities.
"Develop reusable data transformation components.
Performance Optimization
"Optimize Denodo query performance.
"Implement caching and accelerator strategies.
"Tune joins, aggregations, and virtualized query execution.
"Troubleshoot complex performance and integration issues.
Required Qualifications
"5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
"3+ years of Denodo development experience.
