The Kind of Work Youll Be Doing:
Partner with users and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support the ministry's organizational needs.
- Manage and support data integration processes, leveraging existing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) workflows to move data from source systems into BigQuery.
- Prepare, filter, and deliver data sets in BigQuery for consumption by Power BI and other approved reporting platforms.
- Support data governance initiatives by following established standards and recommending improvements to data management practices.
- Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and reporting structures that promote data availability, consistency, and appropriate use.
- Train, support, and guide users and technical teams on processes for accessing and utilizing data in reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Privacy, Security, Engagement, NetSuite, US Technology, and other stakeholders to enable secure and effective data access and integration.
- Assist national ministries by responding to data-related requests and helping to identify solutions that meet operational and reporting needs.
- Evaluate technology solutions, provide informed recommendations, and effectively collaborate with colleagues, management, and global partners.
- Continuously assess and improve data workflows by incorporating emerging AI and technology capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in required team, project, and organizational meetings to support collaboration, communication, and strategic alignment.
- Report weekly to the Team Leader on progress, accomplishments, challenges, and recommendations related to data governance, management, and operational improvements.

Required Experience:
- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Data/Computer Science
- 4-7 years in Data Engineering
- Basic understanding of the CCCi ministry and its global structure.
- A functional understanding of the software development process
- Advanced data analytics skills
- An understanding of databases & complex data structures
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries in BigQuery
- ETL process

- Contribute to data architecture proposals, discussions and implementation efforts
- Use AI to assist in accomplishing tasks
