Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Location: Across USA any Location

The pay range for this role is $160k - $165k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Contract Rate 75/hr

Years of Experience: 12-18 Years

• Lead architecture for large, complex, multi-domain data ecosystems.
• Translate business strategy and requirements into scalable data architecture.

Enterprise Data Architecture (Primary Requirement)

• Design and own enterprise-scale data architecture across data lakes, lakehouse, and data warehousing.
• Define logical and physical data models, integration patterns, and reference architectures.
• Architect Azure lakehouse platforms using:
• Azure Databricks
• ADLS Gen2
• Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Fabric

Azure Modern Data Platform & Hybrid Architecture

• Hands-on experience architecting modern data platforms on Azure.
• Design and lead Hybrid architectures integrating On‑Prem systems with Azure.
• Deep understanding of:
• Azure Data Factory (ingestion & orchestration)
• Modern analytics and consumption layers
• Platform scalability, reliability, and performance

Data Governance, Security & Compliance

• Strong background in enterprise data governance at scale.
• Define and implement:
• Data quality frameworks
• Metadata management and lineage
• Privacy, regulatory, and compliance controls
• Experience with governance tooling:
• Azure Purview
• Databricks Unity Catalog
