CRM Salesforce Developer

Position Summary
Flowserve Corp is seeking a CRM Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce Digital Experience team in the DFW area. In this role, you will collaborate with enterprise IT teams, Commercial Sales Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management to design, implement, and support business solutions that enhance our B2B customer experience and commerce platform functionality.
The Salesforce Developer will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, identify technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with Flowserve's architecture and development standards. This role requires strong technical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and support Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
Partner with internal customers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Configure, customize, and develop within Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and related tools.
Support integration efforts using web services and APIs, including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
Work with large data volumes while considering platform limits, performance tuning, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, peer testing, unit testing, functional testing, and deployment activities.
Follow DevOps and continuous delivery practices for Salesforce metadata migration and code deployment.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to support application performance, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in application design, support, and development practices.
Identify risks, dependencies, and architectural considerations early in the development lifecycle.
Communicate clearly and proactively with team members and stakeholders to support timely delivery of assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
4-5+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
Strong experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, customization, and development.
Hands-on experience with core web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SDLS v2 and jQuery.
Strong knowledge of the Force.com platform, including Apex, LWC, LWR (is a plus), XML, AJAX, SOQL, SOSL, unit testing, and peer testing.
Experience working with web services and integrations, including REST and SOAP.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, application design principles, Salesforce best practices, and design patterns.
Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
Experience supporting CRM projects for mid-market and enterprise organizations.
Experience working Agile/Scrum environments and test-driven development practices.
Experience with DevOps tools and continuous delivery processes, including code migration tools, CLI, and version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
Salesforce Administrator certification.
Salesforce Commerce Developer certification.
Experience analyzing complex functional and business requirements.
Experience supporting enterprise-level Salesforce implementations throughout the full lifecycle.
Experience refactoring code, improving application performance, and supporting production systems.
Experience identifying architecturally significant design decisions and communicating constraints during the design process.
Experience deploying metadata between Salesforce environments using CLI, VS Code, Bitbucket, change sets, or related tools.
Experience creating or updating technical documentation to support development efforts.

Deliver Lightning Web Component solutions that align with functional requirements and technical dependencies.
Support ad hoc requests related to system administration, application support, and troubleshooting as needed.
Communicate risks, gaps, and blockers early and clearly to help keep work on track.
Contribute actively in team meetings and discussions, providing clear input and recommendations.
