The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening Senior Cost Accountant for an international manufacturing client. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with inventory control, and demonstrated ability to work with multiple departments to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, direct labor, overhead, scrap, and landed costs
- Perform variance cost analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Oversee inventory accounting activities including cycle count reconciliations, scrap, and shrinkage
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure accurate BOMs and routing data
- Develop and maintain financial models and cost analysis to accurately provide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning data
- Serve as a key advisor to management on inventory, costing, and manufacturing finance matters
Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience Required:
- 5+ years in an accounting role in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using a manufacturing ERP such as SAP, Sage, or Syteline
- Experience with inventory control variances and analysis
- Strong analytical skills
