Senior Corporate Risk Analyst
***Please note that a Hybrid Telework Schedule will be considered for this position. Hybrid is defined as a pre-determined blend of working from home and in the office. Two (2) days in the office, three (3) days at home per week will be offered after the standard probation period.
As an integral member of the team, the Senior Risk Analyst will support a broad range of risk and insurance activities, including contract review with a focus on insurance language and risk transfer requirements; coordination and support of enterprise insurance portfolio renewals; and facilitation of on-site and virtual inspections for the property insurance program and other insurance programs as needed. This role collaborates closely with internal partners and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices and compliance across the organization.
Key Areas of Focus:
Perform financial, insurance, and economic analyses, including the collection, compilation, verification, and interpretation of financial information, insurance evaluations, and relevant economic indicators
Support enterprise insurance management activities, including:
Coordinate data gathering and documentation required for insurance renewals, underwriting submissions, and site visits
Review, forecast, and track insurance-related expenditures, including:
Support insurance claims management by gathering required data, coordinating internal stakeholders, and assisting with claim documentation and follow-up
Evaluate and respond to special or time-sensitive requests for insurance documentation, certificates, and coverage confirmations
Review insurance-related contract language and documentation; assess contractual risk exposure and provide recommendations related to risk transfer through insurance or alternative risk mitigation methods. Requires strong technical knowledge of contract insurance requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Procurement, and Operations teams by providing consultative guidance on risk management matters, insurance requirements, risk exposures, and related training resources
Assist with property valuation activities, including the facilitation and coordination of property appraisals
Participate in risk assessment activities, including gas and electrical risk evaluations, and support implementation of risk improvement recommendations
Prepare, document, and maintain internal processes and procedures to support consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency
Develop job-specific skills and competencies to serve as a knowledgeable backup resource within the risk management or insurance function

The most successful candidate offers a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or equivalent experience (5+ years) from a broker, insurer, or in-house corporate risk and insurance analyst. Demonstrated and documented competency in the noted key responsibilities should be reflected in your resume. Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills would make you an ideal match for this role. ARM or CPCU would be an added plus for the role.
