Senior Corporate Associate – M&A / Private Equity | 5–7 Years
Location: Raleigh, NC

A law firm seeks a Senior Corporate Associate with 5–7 years of sophisticated M&A and/or private equity experience. This opportunity offers transaction leadership, direct client relationships, and collaboration with experienced partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead buy-side and sell-side transactions through closing.

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents.

• Oversee diligence, deal schedules, and closing requirements.

• Handle sponsor acquisitions, financings, and corporate governance matters.

• Coordinate specialists and communicate with clients, lenders, and counsel.

Qualifications:

• J.D. with a strong academic record.

• 5–7 years of relevant transactional experience.

• Licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction and able to obtain North Carolina admission within one year.

• Strong negotiation, drafting, and transaction-management skills.

• Large-firm training, team supervision, and financing experience are valued.
